That’s what makes this piece feel special to me. The colors are nostalgic, captured in the exact spot where I spent most of my childhood days.

A weekend trip to ride trails in Southern Missouri revealed this calming moment beside the Current River. My boys took a cooling swim in this spot to beat the heat of the day, while I stood nearby wanting to hold onto it a little longer.
