Sunflower
I captured this photograph of a vibrant yellow sunflower in front of the deep blue of a Missouri midday sky in the backyard of our home. I see this bright beauty first thing every morning, as it hangs on my bedroom wall.
Mountain Lake
"Mountain Lake" was captured on our family vacation to Yellowstone National Park in 2021 while my kids climbed upon fallen logs and followed their reflections along the lake's edge.
Pasture Sunset
"Pasture Sunset" was captured while taking a ride on our neighbor's farm very close to sunset. This is my favorite spot, nearby our home, to catch an enchanting sunset at the end of a long day.
Haybale
This photograph was taken on our family farm during peak fall coloring. In Missouri, the autumn coloring can be somewhat of a happenstance to catch just right.
That’s what makes this piece feel special to me. The colors are nostalgic, captured in the exact spot where I spent most of my childhood days.
Soybean Sunset
The fall season, right at sunset is the perfect time to ride the river levee of my family farm in Central Missouri. That is exactly when this moment was caught through my lens.
Blue River
"Blue River" is a moment when the winter blues take on a whole new meaning. Standing on the Missouri River's edge in the depths of winter, I captured this scene of contrasting colors while standing in the shivering cold.
Twin Rocks
A weekend trip to ride trails in Southern Missouri revealed this calming moment beside the Current River. My boys took a cooling swim in this spot to beat the heat of the day, while I stood nearby wanting to hold onto it a little longer.
Fence Post Sunset
Every sunset that I capture in a photograph feels different. This sunset is one of those that draws you in and makes you pause.
The weathered fence post reminds me to think about where this land has come from and how it's been passed down through the generations.
Yellowstone Lake
"Yellowstone Lake" was captured while our family was on vacation in Yellowstone National Park.
We ate lunch in this very spot while the chipmunks ran around our feet under the picnic table looking for any scraps they could find.
Estes Park
The rush of excitement that seeing snow covered mountain peaks gives me is unmatched. It has been this way for me since my first visit to the mountains as a child.
This photograph brings that feeling rushing back to me every time I come back to it.
Cornfield Sunset
This moment was captured from the levee of our family farm at the end of a long summer day.
The beam streaming across the cornfield makes it hard not to notice just how vast the landscape is all around me.
Lake of the Woods
This farm pond is one of my favorite spots on the family farm. It always brings the best colors with the change of seasons.
The evening this was taken was full of family fun and breathtaking views. This place always feels like home.
